National Water Week

National Water Week National Water WeekPosted October 13, 2011, by Louisa Veidelis This week is the perfect time to become water wise, as Australias most precious resource continues to battle drought, population growth and climate change. Every Bucket Counts is the theme for National Water Week, organised by the Australian Water Association and sponsored by Sydney Water and Smart Approved WaterMark. The campaign aims to save at least one million buckets of water nationally. On average, every Australian uses around 23 buckets of drinking quality water each per day, but our drinking water is too precious to waste, says Julian Gray, CEO of Smart Approved WaterMark. The organisation has launched three online water-saving calculators to help Aussie households save water by changing their lifestyles.Environmental ResourcesEnvironmental manager sample resumeEnvironmental manager sample cover letterCareer Insider StoriesShelley Lask - Body Positive Health & FitnessInterested in becoming a?En vironmental ScientistSustainability OfficerEnvironmental ResearcherEnvironmental ConsultantPolicy OfficerPopular Career Searcheshorticulture resumeenvironmental science internship cover lettercareers in environmental scienceenvironmental scientist jobcover letter for environmental servicesEnvironmental CoursesBachelor of Engineering (Civil and Environmental) HonoursEnquire Online Enquire OnlineMaster of Environmental ScienceEnquire Online Enquire OnlineBachelor of Science (Environmental Management)Enquire Online Enquire OnlineLouisa VeidelisRelated ArticlesBrowse moreGreen power is good for jobsFor those who work in the energy sector, career opportunities and environmental values have long been at opposing ends of the spectrum, until now.Clean up Australia and boost your careerNo ifs or butts This weekend, help restore some of Australias beauty and boost your career while youre there.EnvironmentalImprove your career prospects with green skillsWith talk of climate change and carbon t axes on everyones lips, awareness of green issues is at an all-time high.
